Shangyuan (Peter) Yang
I am a first-year Ph.D. student in the Computer Sciences Department at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, gratefully advised by Prof. Kirthevasan Kandasamy. I received my undergrad degree in Computer Science and Data Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Research
I am broadly interested in algorithms, game theory, mechanism design, and machine learning theory. My recent work gives an algorithmic solution for strategic agents to exchange freely replicable goods under negative externalities. I am currently working on designing near-optimal contracts for multi-agent data collection.
Please feel free to reach out if any of these topics interest you. I am always happy to chat.
